a good line of hoplites with some pelasts and a unit or two of heavy calvery = instant win. thats why greeks are supirior to romans, ESPECIALLY if you get some spartans in the phalnx

@spitandfire The key to beating Phalanxes is Archers, sadly I never use archers so I rely on numbers!

Funny thing was that the Empire was not Holy, nor Roman, nor an Empire. By the time Napolean disbanded the empire in 1815 the empire was actually a confederation of over 300 states!
