  • where is a good source to buy buffalo flint

  • @quihi1975 Buffalo River flint is found in TN. I get mine at knap-ins.

    Old Stone Fort Manchester TN. They usually have a knap-in in May

    and one in September. You might try online searches but if you

    can't look at it before buying - it may not be the quality you want...

  • What are you using for your tool?

  • @melaniebourgoin59 It is a Copper cap for a water pipe taped to a piece of PVC pipe.

  • is that high ridge?

  • I can't remember the source, but I think it is an Ohio flavor of some sort...

    we have some pretty nice flint/chert here, some dosnt even need to be cooked
