I have to agree, the Race Riots in 1967 and 1968, the Chicago Riot in 1968. It changed nothing and in many cases things got worse once the riots ended, Detrot for example has never fully recovered from the 1967 Riot. All they did was to destroy what little of the idealism the movements had been launched on remained by the mid 60s. The only thing the Riots didn't destroy was the hope of the people to carry on and try to rebuild their lives

These riots achieved nothing and had nothing get better from it. It was a waste of effort of thousands that set progress back decades.
