how many arduino micro controllers are being used here?

there is only one arduino controlling everything. all the lights are controlled over dmx protocol. there is no computer at all involved.

I love the idea of a table whose patterns shift in response to your conversation... but I don't see why an arduino is needed and have a very strong feeling that there's AMAZING stuff you could be doing with this idea with little extra work.
