In the beginning of the Bourne Identity, Jason Bourne (Matt Damon) is being pulled out of the Mediterranean Sea by an Italian fisherman. He (Matt Damon) finds out there is a bank account number implanted into his hip and realizes he can trust no one.

He (Matt Damon) offers a gypsy $10,000 for a ride to Paris to discover who he really is and why so many people want him dead.

In the Bourne Identity, Jason Bourne (Matt Damon) races to unlock the secret of his (Matt Damon) own identity and discovers that he's (Matt Damon) an elite government agent, a 30 million dollar weapon the government no longer trusts.

Anyone else hates movies where the main character is special? you know:

Immune to bullets, extreme luck, has the hottest woman, everyone else around him don't matter they can die and no one else cares, BUTTTT!! if the main character gets a nose bleed *the end of the world*.

These movies are extremly good. Incredible, even the woman isnt too super sexy, witch is quite realistic and good. The whole thing is a master piece.

i agree with fan29 there where parts of this that wasnt in the movie like when he said to marie il give you 10,000 dollars to drive me to paris it was a different scene apart from when he throws the money at her...go figure.
