If you're pro-life and want to point out capital punishment as a point in your argument, feel free to do so. If not, then why talk about it? I don't care about it. I think the two things are completely different.

Pointing out capital punishment may be a justified point when arguing about abortion, but it's also easy to go off on capital punishment instead of talking about the real issue I was originally bringing up: abortion. Honestly, I don't know much about capital punishment, so it's useless talking about it with me.

Not really. Plenty of "pro life" people will say "only god has the authority to take a life". So pointing out capital punishment is perfectly justified.

On top of that, you are saying "different issue"? Did you even watch THIS video? A couple going to an abortion provider to remove a dead fetus and the mom's life is in danger... your ghoul friends tormented her on the worst day of her life.

It's a woman's body and she has the right to decide what to do about it. Abortion protestors have no concept of PREVENTING UNWANTED PREGNANCY. Ask if it's okay to use birth control and they say "NO!" Ask if it's okay to use Plan B, and they say "NO!" Ask if they'll adopt my hypothetical baby themselves, and they say "NO! It's your responsibility." How can they tout their rhetoric without thinking about the consequences?

Well, that's a totally different issue. Ask someone on the street if it would be okay for you to walk up to a man on the other side of the street and shoot him in the head. They will say no if they don't have psychological issues.

I think it actually varies from baby to baby. If it can survive outside the womb, it's too late to have an abortion. If it can't, it's not.

That's not the only reason people have different beliefs on the subject. Some people have religious beliefs that interfere, some have personal ones. It wouldn't matter to a lot of people what really is in the womb.

Women die giving birth. Is that okay? Women go out and have illegal abortions when they can't get legal ones and die all the time. Is that okay? Women have committed suicide because they can't get a legal abortion and really don't want to have a baby. Is that okay?
