A buddy took a ride on the B-25 out of Centennial Airport in Colorado. Here's some footage he took that I pieced together. Wish there was more actual flight footage but I did the best I could with the usuable clips.

  • How small the world is. I was on the field that day cause I worked for ATG which was located at Centennial. I recorded some Videos too. Ther somewhere on one of my harddisks. I´ll upload them and send you the link! Great video man, reminds me on old times.

  • @TheWhistlerCode Hey, that'd be great. I'll look forward to it.

  • Thanks for posting this excellent video! I had the honor to be aboard the Collins Foundation "Tondelayo" B25 in Johnstown, PA. (no ride though, damn.) Loved the sound, perfectly captured on this video, good job!

  • thx for watching. I just lent the camcorder. my buddy was the lucky dog who got to fly in that beautiful AC. I got the biggest kick when he turned the cam on himself near the end of the vid...grinning ear to ear. Can't blame him, i'd be grinning too

  • i got a ride on one of those it made me nauseous but it was awesome cuz we took off overa soccer game and every one looked up at us

  • I don't know how anyone could NOT look up when one of these flys overhead.

  • Ending comments so true- from one whose father built B25's in Inglewood, Cal; and who has earned his pilot's license in 1994; and has flown with Collings' B25 ;Thank You!

  • Strange to think that in 1939, tricycle-gear planes must have looked downright odd to people who had grown up thinking of planes as being "nose-up" on the ground! Anyway, I'm glad to see it still has it's old "spiny" exhaust stubs...most warbird B-25's have been "smoothed out" by putting twin large stacks on each engine. Call me a purist, but I hate that no-one knows what it was like to fly so many original warbirds (the way they were in 1944, no modern radios, etc).

  • @jack887 I went through "Tondelayo" as well, but never got a ride either. Had a great time going through, though.

  • @Yabbadaba2 Yea, need to find it first. Got almost 4TB of Pics and videos I´ve taken while I worked in Englewood.

  • I LOVE B-25!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I love to sit outside my house, look up, and see eather the B-17 or the B-25 flying over head. they come to centennial about once a year. you can hear them coming miles away!
