  • How th HELL il watch porn in publick now???

  • I think there are applications for this, eg if you use street view and image recognition software, by pointing an invisible tablet of this kind to a building, you can see an invisible layer of electronic informations - house number, or if it's a restaurant maybe a menu, if it's a hospital some details, if it's a historical building some history. Also imagine this tech on the windshield of you car, giving you info about getting to a destination, weather, or general info about the region you're in

  • lol good at lan. The enemy from second team will see your position. Good wallhack

  • The key board and the lap top (except for the screen) the rest will be a lot better, the screen is the final tho.

  • Thats cleaver!

  • @adiilie81 Augmented reality, yes. You can do the same with a tablet w/ an forward facing camera, just pipe the video through and piggyback a data layer onto it. Tho this would save clock cycles on rendering the video, true.

  • @robvh2 well, the pixels u can see through are actually complete black, if you make the black a shade lighter it would make the screen opaque

  • It's a very clever technology, most people don't even realise that most displays now require a light source to project light outwards from within the display to the user.

This manages to incorporate transparent LED's that are capable of displaying light of different intensity though RGB filters whilst retaining some transparency when off.

Usefull for shop window advertisement and navigational displays in aircraft and vehicles.

  • They should build this into contact lenses and then you would have augmented reality.

  • what if they made battleship like that!
