10/9/2006 - On his nightly MSNBC program "Countdown", host Keith Olbermann awarded Fox News Channel "Worst Person in the World" for mislabeling a United States Senate race between Democratic candidate Sheldon Whitehouse and Republican candidate Lincoln Chafee where they were labeled as a part of the wrong party.

  • On the program level, Fox News took the top 10 programs in cable news for the year - Huffington Post 12/30/2009.

Congrats to Bill and the whole team. Glad you are making lots of money!

BTW, Oreilly was at 25,000,000 households and Olbermann is at 896,000.

  • Since when do you wingnuts quote the Huffington Post?

  • I read it all the time. I am a total conservative, but I want to read opposing sides. Camille Paglia is among my most favorite writer and she is a die hard liberal but what I like about her is that she is willing to disagree when her 'side' is wrong. That's why I like Fox, they always have liberals on board.

  • "That's why I like Fox, they always have liberals on board."

MSNBC and CNN also have conservatives on their programs. Fox News is not the only one to bring on opposing views... and the funny thing is that, while Fox claims it always brings liberals on, they get strongly outnumbered by conservative guests. The liberals are also shouted down in "debates" dominated by the conservatives on Fox. So I wouldn't brag about Fox's "Fair & Balanced" claim as much as people like you love to do.

  • "Democrat envy"? LOL. Nobody is jealous of the dems. In fact, most are embarrassed by them. Republicans suck ass too. It's like both parties have gotten so fucking bad that they can't seem to out do each other on how pathetic they are. New party time. It will happen.

  • no disagreement there... they have both sold their souls to the devil (big corporations). that just sickens me to no end.

  • @GstateBALLER925 um, and MSNBC isn't strongly outnumbered by Liberals? Tell me when Olbermann has a big Convervative on his show.

  • I really think something needs to be done about Fox news. Anyone in their right mind knows that Fox never presents the news without a strong conservative bias even going so far as to make up lies for their stories. I don't think it's right that they can present themselves as a news station when they don't actually report real news. The sad thing is, is that some people actually take Fox seriously (relatives of mine included). There's one word to describe Fox perfectly. That word is Propaganda.

  • So? O'Reilly's still a nut!
