Testing out my new helmet cam (GoPro Motorsports Hero Wide).
This is me making my torn rotator cuff even worse by spending the day at the track.
The track configuration is set up for "Reverse Sprint".
My best lap time that day was a 53.19, not bad for an injured rookie in a 1994 kart.

  • on the display on the wheel, what is on it?

  • @fatbassethound It's called a Mychron , it can display lap times, coolant temp, rpm, mph/kph , cylinder head temp, exhaust temp, and more.... of course you have to hook up the right sensors to get the readings you want

  • @nikkikautz nice. whats the top speed on this beast

  • @fatbassethound It all depends on how you gear it. You can easily change the engine and axle sprockets to adjust for more top speed or accelleration. A 125 shifter kart can hit about 120mph if geared for maximum top speed. My kart at that time was geared for about 80mph

  • $1000 - $15,000 , depending on how nice and how new you want it. I usually pay about $2000-$3000 for a good used kart. There are lots of different kinds. Look up "kart racing" on wikipedia

  • how tall are you? im 6 foot 1 and dont know if i will fit in these haha

  • @nikkikautz How much can cost a Kart car? And how much it can run?

  • @MMDDYY1000 I don't know the exact pricing, but here's their website: jim russell usa.com

  • @nikkikautz So you have your own Kart and pay 40 Dollar and drive on the track all the day. That is great. But if i want to pass the school what will be the price of the school?

  • @MMDDYY1000 This is open practice at Infineon Kart track. You just pay the $40 fee and drive all day. Must bring your own kart and gear. They also have karting school here where they provide the karts. It's not cheap though
