This was the band I saw at when I snuck into a show at 13 yrs. old!I still can't describe the intensity of his performance..there was nothing to compare it to.They had stagehands holding up his stacks from behind as he beat the shit outta them with what was left of his Strat at the end of a good hour and a half or so.Dazzling!

Lulu got SO pissed at them for playing Sunshine of Your Love. I thought it was fantastic.

I like the way he catches the flat low E string @ 6:32.

In a Hendrix biography, Cream wrote "Sunshine of your Love" after witnessing Jimi play for the first time. In essence, Jimi never knew this but loved the song.
