MDTT Part 4 of 7 - My Daughter The Terrorist

An intimate look at 2 Black Tiger soldiers and the conditions of war that have shaped their lives and that of the 4 million Tamils of Sri Lanka (of which, 1 million have fled to take refuge in other countries). Why do they do what they do? If we can begin to understand how to answer this question fully and holistically, then we can begin to address the problems at the root of this war. As we see a glimpse of what their lives are like, we also see things first-hand that go against the grain of what we've been told to assume. They're clearly not fighting for religion, money, power, afterlife, or due to a lack of intelligence. Rather, it's quite the opposite. The real reason is something else. This documentary starts us off with 2 pieces of that puzzle.
