Musicman1066- The Unseen (feat Roebackm)

This is my attempt at a vocal cover for the song "The Unseen" by Musicman1066. This guy is a brilliant artist, and I could never match his skills. The audio is quiet. And in my opinion the audio gets better as the video progresses. Please have a little bit of mercy on me, since this is my first screaming vocal cover. And I did the song over about twenty times, and this was the best I came up with. I am not doing this to advertise my vocals at all, because my vocals might be barely even subpar. Garageband made the audio a lot quieter than I hoped. So I apologize for that. If you would like to use the lyrics to make a cover of your own, then by all means go for it. I'd love to actually do the song justice. I merely had lyrics and I thought I'd give it a shot. I'm not much of a song writer either. The theme of the song is war. And I'm sorry, the vocals are so terrible. If you can scream well. Then maybe you could use mine as the layout, but make the screaming sound a hell of a lot better. I'm only 16, so I'm hoping to get a little leg room. With that said. here are the lyrics. You will probably need to follow along since at some parts you can't hear me that well.

We all start out somewhere. I remember the first song I started screaming to was Miss Murder from AFI. But the majority of my growth in screams came after I started listening to Killswitch Engage more. Just work on those screams, man. And try to put more power into your clean vocals. Show some improvement and you'll shut up all those people who post bad comments. How long have you been doing screams? Just out of curiosity.

@DarkSaint91 This was my first attempt ever at screaming anything. I didn't inhale like everyone is complaining about but I did scream from the saliva in my throat and not from the gut. I tried it and couldn't grasp it and it hurt the hell out of my throat. So that's what led to the shitty screams. As for the cleans, those need more work too. As I said in the description I am not doing this at all to advertise my screams. They suck. I just wanted people to hear my take with lyrics on the song.

loved your vocal lien upon the track, great lyrics as well, just you need to practice a little more and you will be a great screamer, for clean, emm not good try a different tone of voice, and if you can some one to master and edit and normalize your vocal, honestly best vocal cover i heard on youtube, great job mate! keep it up!

i like this man! awesome lyrics, i totally think they work perfectly with the song. the balance is just off the hook. congrats on that, and also, for a first time screamer i thought it sounded pretty good. plus since this was some time ago i bet you're better now. keep practicing because i can really see a bright talent growing within you :)
