Hi Tim,
great video!
144.6125 MHz might have been a better choice of QRG (esp. with super-low TX power mode on the IC-92). 144.750 MHz is the IARU R1 ATV talkback frequency (monitored by many around the clock for ATV DX contacts). Sadly ATV talkback is probably a little quieter in your area, since GB3HV lost its site.

Excellent video. Another tip for callsign selection... Pressing and holding '0' will set the URCall to CQCQCQ as mentioned... but while you are still pressing '0' you can then rotate the dial to select from any of the programmed URCall memories. Rotate until you find the memory you want, release '0' and away you go...

Nice video - just ordered mine from W&S.
To get back to CQCQCQ you don't need to go through all the menus, just press and hold the '0' key until it bleeps and it appears on the display.

Hi Darren,
Thanks! Good point re 144.750. I've never heard anyone on there, but that doesn't mean it doesn't get used, as you say!

Thanks for the kind comments - particularly the ones that have helped me change the callsign more readily... I really should read the instruction manual! Thanks guys!
