1983 tube stock toured the Met and District lines on December day back in 1996 and Fred was there to film it.

  • I see two old ones sat in the Sidings at South Harrow whenever i travel on the Piccailly Line, but the funny thing is why would the replace them after 13-14 years of sevice. Thats soo less

  • The 1983 tube stock is like a brother/sister to the D78 Stock I seen one driving motor carrage at the Museum depot at Acton Town

  • 2:35 the contrast between the '83 and the D stock is massive - apart from the fact that one is tube and the other sub-surface
