At GamesCom Sony announced the September 1, 2009 release date of the PS3 Slim and its retail price of $299.99.

  • @shumut the ps3 slim is alot more cooler than the fat version, with a new chip that is smaller and consumes less electricity.

  • old ps3 better you can use linux and use emulators, slim that feature is gone

  • Sony never listens to those who want PS2 compatibility back... If they did whilst keeping it cheap, they would've had a chance at selling me one as my old PS2 broke this spring... Now I have a PS2 90001, not a PS3.
