The term Kermit the Forg is also used in the Muppet Show episode w/ Harry Belafonte, when Kermit is reading a note from Fozzie & Fozzie's misspelled some of the words in the note.

@wattamack4 All of them were Jerry Nelson, however if this were done today Kermit would be Steve Whitmire and Gorf, Forg, and Grof would still be Jerry Nelson (with Matt Vogel puppeteering Forg and Gorf and Jim Martin puppeteering Grof)
