@brnagn06 You're the one whose eyes need to be opened. You're calling something the church that's NOT the church. Pastor MacArthur IS building the church, and part of building the church and taking care of Christ's lambs is guarding them from wolves. I pray that you do not preach since you cannot discern this. You need to go read Matthew chapter 23 because your idea of Jesus is quite off, as well.

And Paul clearly said not all speak in tongues:
1 Corinthians 12:29-30 All are not apostles, are they? All are not prophets, are they? All are not teachers, are they? All are not workers of miracles, are they? All do not have gifts of healings, do they? ALL DO NOT SPEAK IN TONGUES, DO THEY? All do not interpret, do they?

Prosperity gospel is what is wrong with the church today. God is not a genie that is at our every command.
