  • Turn off the damn music, airplane engines are running...

  • Even though this clip is called "historical" which I think is overrated, the video editor still manages to edit some music in along with 6 P&W flying by? Thats just downright wrong! Shouldnt these people only allow nothing but pure engine music?

  • I wanted to enjoy the startup of engines and the in flight sound but had to suffer the annoying repetitive mindless "music" that just would not quit all through the video. Aircraft engines ARE the soundtrack.

  • Great video ... except the music getting in the way of radial melodies!!!

  • Oh my...There just aren't ANY words that I can conjure to describe what seeing three F7's flying in formation does for my libido...

  • Lets not forget the amazing P-61 Black Widow in this same category. Please check out my page and real website! I also just wrote a large article (on my blog page) about Combat Flight Simulator. There is a designer about to release this aircraft!

  • With a total of 4200 HP, this aircraft is a beast. Too bad it didn't get into service before the end of WWII. I read somewhere on the net that the F7F3 type was the fastest, with a max.speed of 463 mph, while the previous types had a max speed of 440mph.

My favorite twin engined fighter. Second is the Hornet (De Havilland) and third is the Mosquito - too bad there is none in the world anymore, only the yellow one, the prototype in an English museum, I think it is in Duxford.

  • Super kitties then some..

  • Easily the best looking a/c that Grumman ever built. It just looks nasty.
