you can go to searchtruth(dot)com and find out the ahadith by typing the word "Matta". you'll get it in sahih Bukhari and Muslim inshAllah.

the Prophet Sm said, in Sahih hadith, Allah Says none has the right to say that somebody is better than Younis bin Matta AS. and in another hadith, one should not say one Prophet is better than the other. only Allah KNows whom He FAvoured over whom. the Prophet SM and all Prophets AS have been favoured in different aspects. He will be chief on the Day, Moses AS was favoured when Allah Talked to him, etc.
and if it is the tambourine, that's allowed in hadith. watch Bilal Philip's lecture.
