  • no it is not same Cyrilic is from Indo-European language family Georgian is self unique, which has 3 relate languages Megrelian, Svan and Laz. Georgian language is unique on the time scale since 23 BC since this culture exist same place under caucasus mountain hood, and harbored between black sea and Caspian sea shields. oldest Cyrilic scriptures approximately around 940 AD oldest Georgian scriptures approximately around 430 AD

    It turned out that my father's grandfather is from Georgia (I was born in Hungary), unfortunately we don't know anything about him. But I will go to visit Georgia one day :)
