The point of the song is that the speaker cannot sleep, his mind is flooded with thoughts, and this video depicts one of those nights where a sleepless man drifts around town to ease his boredom. The lack of lighting to me depicts that monotony that comes with a night alone. If you really are a producer in Hollywood, take your crap out the door and re-join the mainstream shitpipe you come from. This is a beautiful song with a decent video and I applaud the time and effort from it.
