Anyone realize how closly related The Lion King is to this? It may have copied the manga, because they both had mangas before the move or series. I mean really, Kimba, Simba, Liona, Naula? Its crazy. Both Aficans, (but that makes sense) Both lions becoming kings. (atleast I heard Kimba will become king, this is the first one I saw) And even on my Lion King 2 vcr it has an advertisment for this

@Dryleafswarrior this series came out in 1989, tezuka started this series in relationship to his original 1950's manga of Kimba but he wanted to make it different from the american series releaed back in 1965, so the debate is with lion king

In the original manga (I have it), Liona is Kimba's cousin, not his aunt.

theres a lot of debate about that, originally, Leona is suppose to be Kimba's sister.

i hate to say this but it wouldn't matter as much if kimba died in panja's forest, at least he would be free and everyone dies at some point. if i were an animal i rather die with my friends in the forest and free.
