that's why icc building codes require that you have a window that you can OPEN, unless the room has an exterior door in it. not being able to break the glass isn't a con, any way you look at it. not being able to OPEN your windows, certainly is.

Yeah if it can keep intruders out...It can also keep you in..What happens if you get trapped in a fire and you can't get the window up...That has happened to people before...With armored glass you won't be able to break it to get out....pros and cons to everything i guess. just something to think about before you buy this product. especially if you have kids.

Actually, Gorell products are one of the best quality window products you can buy. You get what you pay for -- and you're paying for excellent products. They even offer a lifetime warranty -- you won't get that with cheap, poor quality windows.

Consider the fact that all window companies offer this laminated glass option if you ask for it, the Gorell product is a mid grade quality window at best. Keep looking. This window brand is WAY over priced compared to many others on the market.
