Fall River, Massachusetts- State Police are investigating a fatal accident on Route 24 north near Route 79 in Fall River , Massachusetts . One person was declared deceased at the scene of the accident which happened around 8:00 AM Saturday ( 12-11-10 ) morning. There are unconfirmed reports from the accident scene that a 17 unidentified male teen on his way to a wrestling match was killed. State Police were at the scene for over 3 hours reconstructing and photographing the scene. There were numerous accidents due to black ice throughout southeastern Massachusetts at the time of the crash, though it is not known at this time if black ice played a role in the fatal accident.
