And so you see the fallacy of capitalism. The 'system' will inevitably move increasingly towards Socialist tendencies. European countries highlight this fact. Stability plan? We are currently led on the floor of the bathroom, holding on to the base of the toilet with both hands, trying to stop the room from spinning around, with one eye open and puke all over our shirt. Without credit, economies can not "grow at their potential?" The premises these people expect me to accept at face value are epically presumptuous.

What sort of growth happens without draconian governmental oversight, I wonder?

And if we prop up failing businesses that is also a socialist society. Too big to fail? Too big to pull their own damn weight, and so shouldn't expect us little guys to pull it for them. Let them fail, there are plenty of banks to replace them, banks that weren't taking such crazy risks, and also Insuring those incredible risks!!! They deserve to fail.
