This is really a novelty as far as I'm concerned. I wouldn't buy this if I had it to do over, but hey, I collect knives and it's kind of odd. It might be OK as a backup knife on a day hike, but the lock is very unimpressive (on mine, at least). I'm OK with paying $6 for it. If I had paid full price, I wouldn't be happy. It's not rated for climbing.

  • I have one and have had no problem. I keep it on my backpack. Not my primary knife my any means. Has been handy just to unclip and use. Easy to find. Would not subject to hard tasks.
