Brilliant concept! Before I watched the how-to, I thought about how I'd try it ... came up with something similar (layers in Photoshop and Final Cut) but didn't see that you worked multiple stills. Must have taken forever. I figured you used Photoshop's 'clone & stamp' on a single still, then layered it over time lapse shots, masking elements to be replaced.

Love the how-to commentary ... "good luck with that" ... heh! Kudos to everyone on your team who brought this series to life.

This is a great video! Especially the Seattle one, but how do you guys make these? I'm just wondering because they're highly populated cities and are one of the worst traffic cities. It's just weird to see them with no cars and people. Also, I know it's called Empty America and there aren't supposed to be anyone. I'm just curious.
