Huh, that's strange. The same thing happened to John Gallagher Jr. as it did to Gerard during 2:36.

i saw gerard thursday at my workshop he is amazing and helpful with auditioning tips i freaking took a close up picture of him he might have seen me as rude and i said sorry =) but he is awesome he even taught us time of your life harmonies and american idiot choreography

Its a cello. The ability to confuse a bass and violin is truly impressive.
But really it seems like he just second guessed himself. If you hum along to it, he actually began in just the right spot, but he THOUGHT he was wrong.

I approve. Though JGJ will still always be the best in my eyes.

not really fond of the Ilse here...
-
yeah! i think it's part of the choreography or something.

it happened to John Gallagher Jr. in an outside performance too. Must be something wrong with the recording...

I thought that was him! I was looking at this video thinking "he reminds me of that guy who was in the ensemble who was really fond of head pops." He gets into it, he's awesome!

I can't wait to see Gerard in American Idiot. He has this energy that is so amazing and even if he's singing about giving up and thinking about killing himself, his energy makes me want to rock out! lol.
Him, BCJ, and JGJ on the same stage rocking out to Green Day songs will be freaking epic.

gerard is my love.
Might i add some Emma praise, coz i feel she's not getting enough. She does a lovely rendition of Blue Wind (i'm a big fan of how she closes her notes, if that makes any sense) and that colour looks beautiful on her!
