http://learn-to-flip-a-house.info | I had to shoot a video showing new investor the mistakes I made that caused me to miss out on between 4 and 8,000 dollars on a deal. My first deal actually.

This is a video to the post so if you want to read it word for word, go to dennisknows.com.

In case your wondering who mislead me, hears his facebook page just in case you run into him. Not saying he's a bad guy or a horrible father or anything but he lacks integrity so learn from my mistakes.

  • wow, I feel your pain too. You mentioned that he was an agent? I'm not surprised. Agents tend to get very vicious in their world as agents so i guess when they see a chance to pounce on something, they do it.Well, that dude just screwed himself from getting any future deals, leads, referrals from you. You'll become a successful investor and you'll surely bump into each other again but he wont get deals from u.the rei world is small where most ppl know each other. Good luck!

  • @tuumz yea... Turns out, I hooked up with another newbie investor and she told me he tried to contact her seller and go around her..

So it wasn't just me... He' s just a jerk.. LOL

  • DAMN ........I feel for you man. I don't like dealing with unscrupulous people. I agree with you on the race issue also....its a shame because no other race of people seem to have so much distrust or mistrust for one another as Blacks do. We do such a good job of tearing each other down that it makes it easier for other groups of people to do it also. I too have dealt with a fake helper type individual as I'm learning wholesaling now......I need a simple contract for purchasing though...Good

  • @SuccessKollective Yea it happens. As I said, never let them know your new. You need a contract?

  • Damn, this is a great video. Learned a ton.

To be honest on the race card, I have never, and it is sad, met

a black person as cool as you seem to be in my town. Serious.

You seem really cool dude. Nice vid.

  • You have a good attitude even though this other person took advantage of your first deal. It's unfortunate that he lost your respect and trust for the short-term gain of earning a few thousand dollars. Thank you for sharing your experience and good luck in your business

  • @DennisKnows ..really? wow.I guess he's a "newbie predator"...lol. see, thing is word gets around fast in the rei world, it's a small world/group of us who bump into each other at reia meetings, closing tables, etc and guess what we talk about? real estate and more real estate.so once someone gets a rep of being shady and dirty, no one will want to deal with them anymore.
