The RTA is run by curry munchers, public transport worshiping arts students & feminists who think any male who owns a car V6 or above has a very small penis.
The RTA is a joke & a half of incompetency & has with the assistance of the 16 year Stalinist-ALP regime allowed our roads to be left to shit & spent all of the energy building the M7 & said "roads in NSW are fixed."

I always thought that it was on a slight curve so that he was going so fast that he couldn't account for the variable of a truck appearing as if out of nowhere.

A way bigger threat is from, almost amusingly, livestock while speeding on country roads. Cars in front of ya? No problem. You can usually see them miles ahead and slow down easily, but livestock and horses and deer will jump out of you and BAM your dead. But big flying animals don't seem as effective with ads...although they're sometimes more dangerous than hitting a truck.

the ad doesn't make sense, which seems to be a common problem for RTA ads. The driver was looking ahead, and on a country road like the one depicted, he should have been able to see the truck from a mile away and slow down. If he didn't, then the ad should be about the dangers of driving while short-sighted, not 'speeding'. Sometimes I think the RTA thinks that we're really, really dumb.
