Not even close to William Matteuzzi`s performance of Si ritrovarla io giuro. Matteuzzi is and will always be the best tenor for this aria. No one has gotten even close to the outstanding performance of Matteuzzi. But I admit Juan Florez is a good tenor. Not the best for this aria, but he is good...

It does have character but his voice looses color every so often, technique issue.

Me encanta su expresividad, se podría decir que siente cada canción. Esto acompañado de su bella voz y un fraseo perfecto, incluso en las coloraturas, hace que el conjunto sea perfecto. Yo que no hablo italiano puedo distinguir cada palabra, lo que no puedo hacer cuando escucho a otros por ejemplo Lawrence Brownlee quien le da más importancia a su juego de voz que a la pronunciación.

Brownlee definitely as a more pleasing tone, but Florez is more consistent throughout his range.

I actually prefer Brownlee-I find him more exciting, but Florez is still a virtuosic singer.

I prefer Brownlee actually. Has more depth to the tone somehow. TThey are both equally good, it's just a matter of taste...
