All six SD70MAC units were built for BNSF predecessor Burlington Northern in 1995. They were numbered 9653, 9673, 9661, 9659, 9647 and 9713. There were eight units total, the last two were BNSF C44-9W 4497 and BNSF C44-9W 1011.

  • What camera do you use?

  • @UP5140SD70M For this shot, I used a Canon GL-1.

  • Where is this video shot, it looks like the Joint Line?

  • @SP4449BN9444 Yes, this was shot on the Denver-Pueblo, Colo. Joint Line. The locoation is at the former Woodmen Road grade crossing. The train went under the Woodmen Road bridge, which replaced the grade crossing many years ago, just after passing out of view to the right.

  • I like the Circus Nation graffiti at 0:38. Hell of a nice outfit you caught here.

The six BNSF SD70MAC units were shot just north of the Woodman Road bridge as they head south toward it. This exact location is where the old Woodmen Road crossing used to be before the bridge was built.

  • Awsome Catch

  • @simigalaxtrain I just hope they keep their beauty throughout that ordeal...oh how upsetting it would be to see those cream and white MACs be defaced. Esepically the one of a kind "Vomit Bonnet" BNSF 9647...

  • The six SD70MAC BNSF that appear in your video are currently operating in Mexico with Ferromex.....

  • Wow, i miss all the Cream and Green!
