Steve has worked hard to copy the service motion of Pete Sampras. Let's see if that work has paid off, and what differences still remain between Steve and Pete.
Plus pete swing speed is so much faster than steve, thats why there is big difference int eh racquet drop and such.
the right foot thing- pete's is diff from steve because pete rotates earlier and more, thus his right foot pushes up more. steves right foot is up because its dragged along with his....ohk serve.
A side view would show sampras's body in a c shape, where steve's would be in a more straight I shape. This is the key the power, this position sets up the other parts of the body properly.
trophy pose is similar in aspects of the obvious things an average person could see. The biggest difference is not seen in the views you have above. sampras's(and many other pro's, andy, federer a bit) knee alignment is the key difference. His left knee is a lot lower than his right knee relative to the ground.
My God, just show us the damn serve.
