Learn to play "Basket Case" by Green Day

It was late, haha, and I just got back from lazer tagging and walking in the rain so...my hair is a mess! :)

Questions and comments are very welcome, I am extremely open minded to suggestions.

If you have any requests I will attempt to learn them. If I think it is unneccesary (or I just don't get it! :) then I won't post it and you're better off looking at the tab.


FOR THE PERSON WHO WANTED BACKSEAT GOODBYE: All of that song is power chords, there is no point in teaching that via youtube, if you look at the tab it is simple and the strumming pattern goes from quarter notes to eighth notes in 4/4 time.

i don´t know if we have different versions of the tabbook but the riff at 3:12 sounds really weird isn't it E5, B5,C5#??

@NadaqShaker Thank you for the input. I'm not very good with strumming, so in that department you're probably better off looking that up somewhere else. As for the riff at 3:12, I'll have to check. I'm pretty sure I was following the book right. Thanks for listening! :)

@prankstare I say it's easy in the fact that it's only a few power chords. Some songs are very complicated in their chord structure.
