So I have seen a bunch of reviews and videos about how difficult it is to remove the Incase and Speck hard shell cases and so I decided to make this video tutorial on an easy method of removal. It shouldn't take anyone 10, 20, 30 minutes to remove a hard shell. As you can see it takes me 2-3 minutes to remove the case AND I do not damage the macbook in the process.

  • @MissTrenchcoat stupid girl! you remove the bottom case first so that you don't damage the upper part of you laptop..there is less chanes of getting the bottom damaged.

  • by the way its red not pink well its more red than pink because I'm a guy and we don't like pink but i finally got it off and i just noticed that i have had it the wrong way for the pas 3 weeks !!!im suck an idiot

  • @rivqahelishiva just crack one side ( left or right) take two snaps off.then ur done

  • this bitch talks a lot just fcking show us how

  • I have a Speck hard shell case for my MacBook. I have no problems removing the case at all. In fact, it's super easy; a kid could do it. Is this a problem with Speck covers specifically, or Incase?

  • You still are "damaging" it more by removing it so whats the point taking it off. Dust doesnt even make hair scratches so whats the point?

  • the bottom came off fine... the top is NOT going anywhere. :/

  • thank you to the people who've said "use a credit card." Honestly, it's better than using a butter knife and it worked swimmingly.

  • Helpful :D

  • this was the worst advice ever, i slid it off and it scratched my macbook pro.
