When is the last time that you bowed your head in prayer, thank God for the meal that he provided you? Praying before eating is not a requirement, but rather a practice that helps us retain our perspective about who provides our food.
This reminds me of a worship song. "Give thanks with a greatful heart, give thanks, to the Holy one, give thanks, because He's given Jesus Christ His Son. Also, Scripture teaches us that in everything we do we are to give thanks. I fully believe this includes thanking God before eating a meal.
You are the light of the world. A city built on a hill cannot be hid. No one after lighting a lamp puts it under the bushel basket, but on the lampstand, and it gives light to all in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father in heaven."
My husband and I eat out often and we always pray before we eat without giving it any thought. after watching this video what a nice added blessing to think that not only are we thanking God for what he has provided for us, we may be a reminder for others to do the same!
Having an attitude of gratitude is important, Scutter. Thank you for this kindly reminder...we teach our children to say grace. Why would we not keep up the gratitude as we get older? It's a mystery to me. Shalom and God bless you, Scutter!
When my Dad was alive, we already said grace at home and in public. Since he's been gone, I sometimes forget until after I start my meal. Great video! God bless you!
This is a very nice video. Its the little things that God appriciates from us as His children. I always say grace before we eat. Thanks for reminding all of us! God Bless!

I always pray before I eat a big meal. Just to let God know that I'm grateful to him for providing me the chance to eat it.

Great video!
Here's one: Only eat HALF of your meal and find someone on the streets who has nothing to eat and give them the other half.
Luke 3:11 He answereth and saith unto them, He that hath two coats, let him impart to him that hath none; and he that hath meat, let him do likewise.
