My fellow language-enthusiast friend asked me today, "why did you start learning korean?" and so begins this rant.

  • u look like a crosss between Ryan Gosling and Alanis Morissette.

  • i realy like your point of view 2.15

... as you said if you want open yourself to people you have to at least learn some basics as time pass you improve your pronunciation in many ways. I think also that's how you show the respect to there language.

From my point of view is logical, if you want to live in foren country you have to learn language. I totally understan korean people and they're right. Who else will stand by there language if not by them selves.

  • How do you go to live/work in another country without learning the language? What kind of job would you have where you wouldn't need to speak at least some basic Korean? lol

I'd feel way intimidated being so isolated by the language barrier, not to mention (like you said) it just goes a long way to show the people of the country you actually care about being there and being a part of the culture.

If I went to Korea I'd basically want to forget English. :P

  • ahh can you please provide a translation for the black-and-white section?

  • @GrayAu same can be said about Korea though, so don't base it just on that.

  • I am really inspired by this video. You are beautiful inside and out. Gam-sa-hap-ni-da! :):)

  • lol i just started learning korean a few months ago but i could understand what you said! yayy! i was so proud of myself but i still have a LONG way to go. korean's a really hard language to learn! anyways, congratulations about learning korean :D

in america, ppl think it's weird i'm trying to learn korean, even though there's a significant korean population where i live hahahha

  • @shineeportal :D yay! someones in the same boat
