i think Dubai is going to beat New York soon

it is extremely difficult to motivate even the best payed maintainence workers to sustain the diligence and professionalism to keep a digitally controlled electro mechanical system such as this in top working order. my bet is that the system will degrade over time....perhaps a over a very short time. if the workers are not well treated in dubai (as i've read is the case there), they're even less likely to give their best efforts. i'm betting on the salt water and the salt air to win.
