Paper cutting (Scherenschnitte) is one of the oldest art forms. For almost two decades it has become my passion.
I work with any kind of paper, it can be printed, painted or even plain. I analyze material by its size, texture and color prior to make the first cut. Sometimes I work with metal or copper sheet to integrate/ accentuate the elements of the final concept I try to express.
In many of my works, I intricate the myths, legends, and symbols of themes and legends of ancient cultures, therefore many of people who has been following my career perceive me not only as an artist, but also as a storyteller. Kay Weber
