Yet another sign we're living in a real-life Idiocracy.

I've said this a few times. Why don't they just raise the gold price to 50-100,000/oz. Problemo solved. And I wouldn't mind it. I know that something is fishy with fort knoxx. What if they actually had more gold than they are supposed to? What if they have been plundering gold from other nations because they forsaw this outcome?

Funny and sad at the same time.

"A troy ounce is going for, depending on who you sell it to 6-800 dollars a troy ounce."
"Our gov't is sitting on billions of those coins advertised at one troy ounce."
"Instead of sitting on those silly things trying to sell them for 10 dollars a shot, why don't you have our gov't melt it down.".............and the rest is how they say,,,"History"
LMAO!!!

That news station just did not do their homework on who they interview, what an idiot that guy is.

idential_$1_Coin_Program In this video he doesn't say billions of $1 coins, but billions of gold coins - where he's got that information is another thing... and 1 ounce sold for $10 a shot, which sounds stupid (there would be obviously a shortage already). I'm confused - maybe that was the agenda of KJCT8...

@MoneyBags73 I think they featured the think tank dude as comic relief or something because most people know sac dollars aren't real or do they?

@indignant99 You're American, aren't you? You do realize that Ad hominem's don't help an argument, but only show it to be week, right? From 1933-1970, Gold was kept low at $35/oz. How did "THEY" do this, given that it's a "global market"? If "THEY" can hold the spring back, can they not let it go, by just letting the dollar die? The inflation would simultaneously decrease debt and increase gold price drastically.

@tzankich My first thought was the "one man think tank" was an idiot. Then I wondered if maybe he was a genius (and great actor) making a point about inflation through satire. First thought is usually the correct one though.
