This video is an attempt to combine the philosophy of Zen, Haiku and Music.
Haiku is a form of Japanese poetry. Here are some quotations that explain the special form of poetry.
Haiku is a kind of Satori. (R.H. Blyth)
Haiku is a wordless poem. (A. Watts)
Haiku does not talk about something, Haiku does not describe something, Haiku presents. (M. Buerschaper)
In Haiku then there is an attempt to say something without saying it. That which remains unsaid tells more than the words and yet is unclear without them. (Y. Hoffmann)
Learn about a pine tree from a pine tree and about a bamboo plant from a bamboo plant. (Basho)
Pour etre bon haijin il faut etre sec.
I am very impressed of the spirit of Zen, but also of any other mysticism (Sufism in Islam, Christian mysticism and Zen Buddhism). The clear consciousness sees the things how they are, behind all illusions. There is no commotion surrounding that tries to convince the readers how intellectual the author is. This often happens in western countries. Zen arts are absolutely astonishing in their clear message. Forget yourself in order to reach a higher level of consciousness. Forget any me and you, let go, being completely absorbed with the activity. Kyudo, Japanese archery, Zen gardens, Ikebana, Calligraphy, Chado and also the Chinese Yiquan is influenced by the mysticism of Zen.
