Frances Lappe argues with Burger King's President of Global Marketing that their new ad campaign not only uses poor people unethically to enrich the company but reflects a flawed business model â one thats turned the Whopper into the Hummer of the food industry. Burger King executives, she suggests, could learn from the fate of the Hummer makers now on their knees in Washington and create a more savvy business strategy.
Frances is nothing but a hippie capitalizing on other hippies' emotions. She criticizes eating meat but she's a meat-eater herself. She's a hypocrite. Free, intelligent people have a choice. They can eat everything in moderation or gorge themselves on burgers every day. They are responsible for their own health.

i.e. actors in folk costumes in studios. this is not creative.
reminds one of the distribution of cigarettes by cigarette companies to spread addiction. or the well documented planting of addictive drugs in poor communities.

Burger King goes to other countries to test American Junk Food out on the locals. Disgusting corporate scumbags!

Andrew Weil MD cites this as an example of the fact that there are chemicals that are highly addictive in processed food. He spoke on Capitol Hill about it last month.
There is something totally creepy about these poor "virgins" being corrupted by American Agribusiness. It's no different than tobacco.
