u know i think the reason screens are getting wider is cause the tvs are over eating (ha i kill me) and as for conan hitting his head johny carsons ghost is saying i want my job back poor conan jay leno hit hishead on his show to but not as bad as conan gee nbc is getting dangerous

wide screen is part of the new HD format. all shows that broadcast in HD now have to be wide screen (also known as 16x9)
