Pictures & video of my horse Diva and I as we tackle the Tevis Cup. This is the most toughest, challenging, sometimes scary, yet beautifully scenic ride we have ever done. This ride is definitely NOT for the Faint of Heart. Lots of single track trails , & plenty of drop offs for the thrill seeker in ya. Diva and I got pulled at Lower Quarry (mile 94) just six miles shy of the finish line. She lost her right hind shoe and her left hind was coming off when we got into the LQ (Lower Quarry) gate and go, the Tevis Gremlins had struck !.Diva got a bit stiff from standing still for so long,(about an hour) to get her shoes replaced. We will be back next year though.
Some pictures are from Hughes, Lucy Trumbull, and Gene Norris
Thank-You to my crew and family and the Gang at Folsom Lake Equestrian Center, and to the Jordan Family. You guys ROCK and are Totally Fantastic !!
*hugs n' kisses*
Also a HUGE Thanks to all those of you who followed us Via the live web cast, and posted your well wishes for us. That really ment so much to me and Diva, to have our fellow Youtubers "riding" with us all day , night and into the early morning.
Se Ya'll Next Year !!!

  • This is AWESOME! I LOVE endurance riding but we don't have around where I live. Your horse is GORGEOUS! Do you have a website or a blog? :)

  • @Justasam Hi here. I don't have a Blog, or website. This year I will be back at Tevis, but I will be sponsering my daughter Bee on her First Tevis Journey. So this year will be Extra Special to me. I will be riding Diva again, and Bee will ride Skylar her dad's grey Arab gelding. Keep checking the Tevis web page on July 16th , follow us riders as we cross the Sierra Nevada Mountains and down into Auburn to the finish. You'll have to try endurance one day, I'm sure you'll LOVE it !

  • I loved your video! I'm training for the Tevis this year with my 10 yo arab gelding and your video got me pumped up!:)
