How to pick a Master Lock #175 with a paper clip...

Even though I am not the best locksmith in the world, the four-digit #175 model Master Lock is so easy to pick that all the hardened steel in the world isn't going to protect your belongings.

One of the previous posters comments is correct. I just purchased a new Masterlock 175 model and there is absolutely no gap at all above or below the number wheels like their is on yours. So this paper clip hack won't work on any new 175 models.

@duelmastereric truth... bobbypins are very strong and really are quite forgiving. If you're not getting it with a paperclip, you probably won't get laid with this trick.

My X's pick my apt. door lock everytime I move. I suppose at some point I should figure out what they are doing. I love how the police say "you need a lot of patience it just CAN'T be done by ANYONE". Wish you lived next door to me I'd hire you in a second! I'm not looking to pick locks. @redsully You can't crack it by generating random numbers, it's only interface (the magnetic reader heads) reads one set of code per swipe. There are trillions of different possible combinations but only 1 opens the door. The high quality outdoor ones are made of solid steel which are almost impossible to take apart from the outside so there is no way to open it and modify it as a "card skimmer". There is no way to break in unless you have had the original access card in your hand to copy.
