@djGlycol ur a sucker omg. get to his level at age 16 then talk.

@GuiMXC If you mean the game between Ma Lin and Kenta 2009 WTC in Yokohama, let's be honest to te end - Kenta played really, unbelievably good that time, and Ma Lin played as usual he plays. Never seen Kenta plays on such high level again...
-
It seems like Kenta has 3:1 psychological barrier...

lin will be one of the best player.I like his play.

@KaxMisha honestly, I actually wouldn't be surprised if Lin if he played with Boll of 2005 skill level, that he would win. Boll has gotten better since then, so I don't think he could beat Boll atm, but I think Lin's skill is definitely good enough, he is a pretty good counterlooper atm, and he has the speed and skills. Ma Long was around 17 in 2005, or very close to it, if you give Lin another year, I definitely wouldn't be surprised if he could have beat Boll of 2005.

@scylla24 It's true that Kenta is really over-rated and will never amount to anything special, but it certainly is not true that Lin is better than Ma Long was at the same age (though Lin is really good). Heck, Ma Long beat Boll rather easily multiple times when he was 16. Search for: "Ma long vs. Timo Boll 2005 German Open"

Blocking style is a fail.

@GuiMXC yeah, everyone was gushing over kenta after that ma lin game, but since then he has failed to impress. His game is all blocking so yeah when combined with his quickness, it can cause problems for Ma Lin whose style is fast and spin. But against other styles he is weak.
This match was really really impressive for Lin. I thought he was in trouble after being 2-0 down, and he didn't seem to have the power to overcome the blocking of kenta. He is better than Ma Long when he was that age.
