A wind turbine near Dalry and Ardrossan in North Ayrshire caught fire during Scotland's extreme weather on Dec 8th 2011. Filmed by producer and cameraman James Alcock.

In the US there are around 14,000 wind turbines left to rot b/c they simply don't produce enough energy to justify the very high cost. So in other words, they are left to decay and litter the land while the environmentalist who cried so loud to have them built are nowhere to be seen cleaning up their mess. Oh and now they don't want them built b/c they kill birds.
Just another knee jerk idea that environmentalist failed to think all the way through..
