Excellent! An approriate video to watch, on this 146th anniversary of the battle. Tod's story is sad, and so many others. Cleburne never made it back to his sweetheart in Alabama. Nothing is ever forgotten.......

Thank you for your comment. You might read the book, Skeletons of the Civil War, which lists accounts from several who've had encounters with spirits at the Carter House.

Actually, Tod's commanding general, T.B. Smith, took FB Carter to where Tod's body lay on the battlefield just a short distance from the house. Two Alabama soldiers bore the stretcher back to the Carter house.
