My GCSE Drama Examination 2007, based on the famous Bernard Pomerance play. I reaped an A* for this, so I'm very pleased with the results. Chris Guard is Dr. Frederick Treves and Becky Troughton is Mrs. Kendal. Not pictured (but also making an important contribution) is Lizzie Vince as Princess Alexandra. I (James Swanton) am playing John Merrick. Music is "Introit" from Karl Jenkins' "Requiem."

  • I do love this play, but I'm spotting one continual problem, unless all the photos are mirrored: the right hand was unusable, but you're using that one, and holding the LEFT one funny. It should be other way round. Of course it's hard to tell much about anything from photos, but you do seem a good *physical* actor other than that.

  • Yeah... I'm afraid to say that WAS intentional, simply because I find that hand easier to use. I felt this was important seeing as I could only move one of them, and all the marks are important in an exam. But thanks for the comment!
